Welcome to my healthy pulse...

Hello and welcome... I'm a 40-something, healthy male (well, I thought I was very healthy), and have just been released from hospital after recovering from what was determined to be a small heart attack. This was the result of a small blockage that was preventing full blood flow through the veins. I'm now home, recouping, digesting the results, and commencing my new, heart smart lifestyle. Here I'll share with you my progress, my experiences, and the challenges I face.

Please note, I am not offering any professional advice in any way, rather, my personal opinions and feelings. If you are experiencing chest pains of any kind, particularly if you also are feeling something strange in your arms (perhaps a tingling or weakness in limbs) and/or a light headed feeling or cold sweats, then get yourself to an emergency room ASAP. You should know that visiting a doctor or clinic with this symptoms will only result in them re-directing you to emergency so save yourself the time and head there directly.
